Terms of Service.

These terms are between you and Megaphone, the service at videoeditoraifree.com. By signing in or using Megaphone you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to the use of the services on our sub-processor list. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

If you use Megaphone for a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that organisation as well as you.

You sign in through our account portal. Your work lives in a workspace: its uploads, clip runs, shorts, connected accounts and schedules belong to that workspace, and its members can act on them.

• Keep your sign-in to yourself, and add only people you trust to a workspace. You are responsible for what happens in it.
• Tell us at support@videoeditoraifree.com if you think someone has got into your account.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything made from it: transcripts, clips, captions, rendered shorts and post copy.

You give us permission to store, copy, transcribe, analyse, edit, render and publish that content, only as needed to run Megaphone for you and only in the ways you ask it to. That includes passing it to the services on our sub-processor list for the jobs named there. The permission ends when the content is deleted, apart from copies we are required to keep by law and the limited residue our providers keep, described in the Privacy Policy.

We don't use your content to train AI models, and the AI providers we use are set up so that they don't either.

You confirm that, for anything you upload or publish:

• you own it or have the rights to use it this way, including any music, footage or other material in it;
• the people who can be seen or heard in it have agreed to it being transcribed, clipped and published, where the law requires that;
• it is lawful, and it follows the rules of every platform you publish it to.

Don't use Megaphone to publish content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, harasses or deceives people, or sexualises minors. We may remove such content and report it where the law requires us to.

Megaphone uses AI to transcribe speech, suggest clips and draft captions and post copy. Those outputs can be wrong: a misheard word, a weak clip, a caption that misses the point. You review them before anything goes out, and you are responsible for what you publish.

Nothing is posted unless you schedule or publish it. A clip has to be kept by you, rendered and then scheduled.

To publish, you connect social accounts to a workspace and let Megaphone post to them on your behalf. The platforms decide whether a post is accepted, how it is shown and whether it stays up. We aren't responsible for their decisions, outages or changes to their rules.

Each platform's own terms apply to what you publish there. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; by connecting TikTok, Facebook or Instagram you agree to follow their terms and community rules. How we handle the data these platforms give us is set out in the Privacy Policy.

You can remove an account from a workspace at any time, which cancels that workspace's posts still scheduled to it. Posts already published stay up until you remove them on the platform.

Each workspace is on a plan with monthly limits: minutes of source video processed, shorts rendered, posts published and AI copy requests. There are also limits on how much work can run at once. When a limit is reached, new work of that kind is refused until the next month begins; work already running is not stopped. Your workspace shows how much of each limit you have used.

Some features are marked beta. They may change, be limited further or be withdrawn, and they are more likely to have problems.

Megaphone does not charge for any plan today. If that changes, we will tell you before anything is charged, and nothing will be billed without your agreement.

Don't:

• try to get around the plan limits, for example with extra workspaces made only for that purpose;
• probe, scan or test the service's security, or get into data that isn't yours;
• overload the service, or scrape or copy it with automated tools;
• resell the service or use it to build a competing one without our written agreement.

You can stop using Megaphone at any time, and a workspace owner can delete the workspace. Deleting it cancels its scheduled posts and removes its connected accounts; its stored data is then deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.

We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or that we are required to act on by law. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Megaphone is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that a platform will accept what you publish. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, Megaphone is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost followers or damage to reputation, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where those apply.

We may update these terms as Megaphone changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Megaphone after that means you accept the new terms.
